Dr. Mark Ma, Chief Scientific Officer & Founder
Dr. Mark Ma is the inventor of Cellergy Pharma’s chimeric antigen receptors. He is the head of an immunology research laboratory at Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, DE. His extensive research experience has included studying T cell receptor signaling and activation, genetic modification of T cells, and T cell antigen presentation.
Prior to joining Nemours Children’s Health, Dr. Ma was an assistant professor at the world’s leading CAR T cell academic institution, the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Qingdao Medical College, an M.S. degree from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
