EMPD Technology
- The EMPD CAR targets the extracellular membrane-proximal domain (EMPD) of membrane IgE (mIgE)
- mIgE is exclusively expressed on all IgE-producing B cells including plasmablasts and plasma cells
- Serum IgE lacks the EMPD and is not recognized by the EMPD CAR
